You know chaos zero from the sonic series? Zerda is an evolved chaos chao that took his current form by shapeshifting. The slime arm is optional. Just an artifact of his origin. Normally it is normal. Partially got the slime idea from that time I got reincarnated as a slime. Big fan of that. But yeah
