General Update, projects, etc
I don't post many journals and the last one had been up for over a year, it was getting stale.

Notes from the Cape is going well, especially with Gerrark heading up most of the writing. I come up with the general story and do some editing, and do the art. Super Deluxe Joe picked up some coding on the last one too and will probably be helping with that in the future, too. WBB team back at it again. It's a great project and I really like doing it. Hard to stop writing lovely stories about a town of kind people living in a peaceful world. And banging a lot! I hope to do another season or two and see how it goes, then decide on continuing or starting another VN project.

The private gallery is also going well. For those that don't know I host all my comics and art, visual novels, everything, on my main gallery/archive site. I also post two full colour drawings every Friday, except for a few weeks a year for holidays or in months with five Fridays. There's a WIP blog that I update 5-6 timse a week, too. Think I've been doing it over 10 years now. It's still a lot of fun and I'm glad to have so many supporters to help keep it going. I think my drawing has gotten a lot better this past year, I'm pretty happy looking back at the 2018 galleries.
Other stuff
I may end up working on another project illustrating short (sexy) stories later this year but that is still to be determined. I don't have any hard plans for cons this year, though I'd like to try to make BLFC or MFF or maybe Denfur. Hope to do some more traveling by train, I really love it. I live in a sort of cooperative now with a bunch of good ppl (including the WBB team) and it's going well. We're pickling things and cooking for each other, working on furry projects and having a peaceful existence. Getting to ride my bike to the market more than in the city, even in winter. Hope to have a nice garden next year with zucchini and tomatoes. Hope to live in peace and harmony and love this 2019 and hope the same for everyone reading as well. Thanks to you all for your support and kindness 💕

took a lot of work and cooperation and some help from a generous friend. and tbh it's more work than living alone, u have to be clean and respectful of space and other's time etc. you can't walk around with your dick out (ok well u actually can do that at our place) and it's not as private as living alone. but it's absolutely worth it when u have a good group of ppl that u mesh with, and if u have enough house to give everyone their own space. unfortunately our society & culture is not generally set up in a way that makes communal living a typical or easy to attain situation.

Yeah, that makes sense. The whole "familiarity breeds contempt" thing, especially if you're talking about a person who's on the messier side or not so easy to get along with. Still, sounds like it'd be totally worth it for people who are willing and able to do what needs to be done to make it work.

i think it's sad that ppl aren't taught to co-habitate better, and that living communally is seen as an alternative lifestyle or smth even tho it's normal when u look at history and other cultures. it's so much more sustainable, too. it is very cheap, we buy bulk stuff, share costs, etc. but idk... ppl can't even be bothered to bring their own bags to the store. asking to co-habitate and share space and resources may be too advanced for that kind of culture lol

Yeah, it's a shame. Unfortunately we've developed into such a consumerist society, where people really don't want to give up any conveniences (and I'm sadly just as guilty as anyone else on that count), that I don't see it changing any time soon. Still, even if communal living has to be the alternative and not the norm, it's awesome that you guys are doing it and liking it.

Glad your stuff's going well! I remember writing about your website and art stuff in college like 10 years ago, it's really cool you've been able to keep it up so long!
