A suggestion to FA Staff....

Please take a moment to read this. Especially if you're an artist drawing for me
So...not super long ago, the FA staff gave us gallery folders...a nice addition to the website, to be sure.
But you know what I 'REALLY' feel its time for? A note system overhaul.
I am so incredibly sick, of having artists come to me, and rightfully have an issue...like..maybe I commissioned them a while ago and they forgot/lost what the idea I wanted was and asks if I could give it again? That's reasonable...happens all the time, this is not something to get salty about...
You know what is though? When I then spend the next 10+ minutes searching through one page of notes after another, having to utilize ctrl+F with the artists name typed into the box to have any sliver of hope of finding them in the constant stream of notes scrolling on my screen. I might finally find it 20-30 pages down, only to realize I don't know WHICH of the notes might contain the info I require....
Usually, this has caused me to simply give up, and give the artist as much as I might remember, if anything, OR, if I can't remember any of it, give them a new idea, to my great dismay, cause I don't give artists ideas unless its something I REALLY want. :\
Seriously, FA would go from a 7/10 to a 9/10 if it had a utility-driven, search-bar including, folder-creation-supporting ACTUAL 'email' style system that would make the lives of both commissioners, social butterflies, and artists trying to run a business, so much easier and enjoyable.
And yet they decide that what we need more direly....are 'GALLERY' folders, so we can separate the gay shit from the straight shit and the peens from the vajayjays. Are you fucking kidding me?
I wish there was a way to make it fundamentally clear to FA that this is, without even an ounce of doubt from me, something literally EVERY SINGLE FULL-TIME DEDICATED USER OF FA WOULD LOVE TO SEE. Prove me wrong. I'll eat my words if anyone here can legitimately claim that this sounds like a bad idea to them and mean it with a straight face. It's not gonna happen, so why the hell has it been THIS long and 'other' updates have happened, but not the 'ONE' update that universally the entire website wants to see? Get on it, FA... :\

I had the same issues before and thought "Fuck that, I'm a programmer for fucks sake, let's fix this shit" and made this tool here: http://double-helix.industries/appl.....rynotemanager/
Main intention was a powerfull search/filter system. want all messages sent/received by an user? Want all messages in a time frame? Want all messages with a keyword? or any combination? All is possible :)
Nobody I ever told about, be it artists or other commissioners, ever gave any shit about it, but I use it myself often.
(note that the initial downloading of notes may take a while, as they have to be opened one after the other in the background and to not be blocked by FA, there's a built in delay between requests)
not gonna lie, I got kinda sad seeing no responses, not even from the one that made the journal. so that answer made me happy :)
hope it works for you - because nobody but me ever used it I have no idea if it performs as it should on other people's computers. But, well, it should XD
I found it easier to use a personal doc on my desktop to track names, what is owed, how much I paid and contact information.
The priority system is dumb when you think about it.
