I put a post up on Tumblr but here's the deets again:

My cat and my laptop both tried to fit on my lap, and the cat won. My baby (the computer) has been quickly going downhill since the fall and it's looking like I'll need to get some part or other replaced. Here's hoping it'll be a quick diagnosis and turn around. I apologise for all those on my to-do list! Trust me, this is the last thing I wanted.
