To be honest, I'm still kinda wrapping my mind around the whole situation. I mean, I can't think of any logical reason he would have to stage the whole thing. I can't believe he'd go to all this trouble just because he was getting written off "Empire". Now he's been cut from episodes, so, if that was his motive, he screwed up. He could be looking at jail time if it's proven that he did.
The saddest thing is, if the whole thing was staged, future victims of hate crimes will be afraid to come forth. As both a Black man and a gay man, he should understand this.
Of course, I don't find Chicago PD all that credible, either. Two words: Laquan McDonald (Yeah, I know the cops accused of the cover-up were acquitted, but so was OJ and people still give him hell, so...).
It's just a messed up situation, all around. That's putting it mildly.

So let me put this straight. He made him self a victim only to agitate the CPD and show them as the bad guys? I know the shooting of Officer Van Dyke. Reason why my sona from the picture I linked you mocks the bad cops in CPD. Helping more good one get into the force.
