My "painter Essentials 5" won't open. Can anybody help?

For weeks I have been trying to get my "painter Essentials 5" program to run. I had this problem before.
I tried reinstalling, rebooting, and holding down the shift key. When I hold down the shift key it normally solves the problem, but now it doesn't.
I want to draw at least something for my favorite month, Marco March.
I don't want to buy another expensive art program or download a virus from a free art program download.
I asking to any artist out there who has this problem, suggest something to me please. I don't want a rogue hacker to take advantage of me. Please if you know of a way to fix my program or a better cheaper program I can download, please say something.
