I mean, they're not all bad, I feel you might be taking a Grinch stance on the day, but I admit, April Fools pranks like Mike Inel's Splatoon Island leave my dopamine generation exhausted, then looking in disappointment as such efforts to generate the dopamine were wasted.

The bait and switch ones that make you feel disappointed are horrible, especially if they work. Because of the nature of the day, April Fool's day pranks that start off bad are easy to predict, so I just go along with it, knowing what it is. And ones that start off bad leave you happier afterwards, knowing that whatever bad thing 'happened' isn't actually true. Splatoon Island really got me.
