You just don't see enough silver foxes nowadays
So TFF has come and gone. Pretty much in that order...
This was my first attendance at the Texas con. I've been thinking of going to it for a while since I know so many Texas furs, and the theme of the con being tabletop games this year just pushed me over the edge.
I had a great time at the con, and a good first experience in Texas in general. I didn't see much of it but what I did see looked nice and the food for the most part pretty good. I didn't go to many panels, but I enjoyed the ones I did go to. There was one I left, but only because I was with a friend at his panel and it was overlapping a panel I wanted to go to.
PEOPLE!
Oh man I met so many people for the first time here. First and foremost were my roommates
daydreamkinamoto and 
wuffamute Great people to know in person as well as online. Daydream was really organized and made sure to get things done promptly. Wuffamute just has a personality you can't help but love, which is why I didn't get to spend to much time with him since EVERYBODY wanted Wuffamute-time.
I also finally met my good buddy
gothkat21 and he got the sketch spot in my art book this year. (I normally just go for one sketch per con). Also a cool guy to hang out with, and the funny thing is that he talks exactly as he types, which was pretty neat.
Met up with a few nown peeps as well, such as
Daigo and 
vixel. Hell at this rate, I feel like Vixel and I have become pretty cool. He took me to a place called Ten 50 BBQ. It was great and you get SO MUCH food!
Most other people I met were just in passing, such as Cheetahjab. He was selling engraved dice towers and I had to get one.
A FAN!
I actually met someone that I can only classify as a fan, because they knew of me, I didn't know of them and they were excited to see me. So
toumakthegryphon it was really great to meet you. I apologize for the awkwardness, it was the first time I've met someone in person with such a reaction to my character. Most people just say they've seen me before and call it there. You're the first to approach and say you love my character, which is really flattering and just makes me wanna get more art of them for you to see!
Texas Furry Fiesta was fun and I plan to go next year. Hopefully people that couldn't make it before can make it this time. Look forward to seeing everyone again.
