Technically inst the whole point of these types of accounts just to have then be watched and have their icon on their page to represent where they are from?

Don't take this the wrong way but wouldn't having it active share the same purpose a having it around and inactive? Or is do you have some plan to make it more then just another 'watch cause it represents a part of me' account?

This account was originally intended like what you said...to be watched and to allow people to find other US furs. That was it, none of the other crap I have seen xP

i never watched the other account cause i never saw a need to... and after looking at it i have to agree it seems rather ambitious, but not needed and i have to wonder where he is gather support from.

All the same reactivated or not ill use this account when i feel the need to say my nationality on fa.

No. You gave up the project and someone else was willing to take over. You may not agree with how its being run, but the fact of the matter is we don't need 2 pages. There is no sense dividing up the community.

There is already a second page that someone made after I shut down this page on 7/20/09

When running sites like this, it's best not to clutter it with more personal stuff, and not to flood inboxes with spam xP

I stopped watching the other american furs account. The "project" is being handled completely hodge podge. I don't like that the 3 times I've asked who an artist that is being highlighted is and getting a response that it is his friend being highlighted. If you are going to highlight an artist, take submission requests to highlight an artist or something, run a contest for the spot, etc. But it almost seems like it is being used as a personal spot light forum.

Looking at the website that is being created, while made of nifty that it is being created, is meh.

for the artists being highlighted, that sounds very biased on their part. When I say partial re-activation...I mean I won't be doing all the state pages, endorsing other pages....i will run this page as I originally intended when I created this page way back in February

Oy vey, quite a mess we have here, isn't it. I've been drowning in what feel like spammed journals and other info from the other page right now O.o this is very confusing

I agree with everyone. That other guy doesn't seem to know what he's doing. This one was much better. Much less clutter, must less spam, much less stuff that I don't care about.

Plus from what I've seen, the owner of the 2nd account is a newb fur.

Why was this one inactivated in the first place?

At the time I was really stressed out from a lot of things going on in my life, and after a breakup...I snapped and shut down this page I am using and the Americanfur page.....but I've returned

also: what is in the past is in the past people (i'm not trying to be rude, but it's true)

i probably should have made a journal, and will: i am sorry for all the deleted journals in the past few days, as things progress, information and journals become out of date, and thusly get deleted

as for the deleted submissions, it's the same thing, things get updated and old things need deleted

as for spam kind of stuff, that was just me trying to get people i like to get more viewers, and that stuff will now be contained to the owners account. it was rather random and stupid to put it on this account
