Returning to Operation

This account is being re-activated for use for furries living in the United States of America.
I apologize for shutting the page down in a hurry back in July....and let me explain why I created this page, why I shut it down, and why I have decided to re-activate it after a month long hiatus.
Back in February of this year, I was searching FA and found a few European furs pages that were aimed at assisting furs from their countries in locating each other. I noticed that they were very popular, and I felt that if the US had a page like that here, furs who live all over the US could better locate and see each other. Thus in the last few minutes of February 28, 2009 at 11:58PM EST, the Americanfur page you see here was born.
My original intentions for this page was to keep it clean and simple, with a few submissions that were patriotic to the US. My original picture was of the American flag flying at my old high school, a simple but effective picture for this page. However, I started noticing that people were contacting me on occasion, asking me to load random pictures of the US flag up from various locations. I know they meant well, but I didn't really appreciate that. Then around late May, early June, I started noticing that people were asking me if I was to create individual state pages, and "governors" for them. I kindly turned down the offer because that was to have been way to complicated, and time consuming to manage all 50 US states, plus territories, and assign people to them.
During June, I started noticing a lot of "fringe groups" starting to message me on both my personal FA page, and here, asking me to operate their pages for random topics that didn't really apply to the US page. At this time, I was under some pressure due to relationship issues and such, and my patience and tolerance was rather low, and the number of state pages that were popping up, and the fringe groups kinda irritated me at the time.
By July 20th, I had reached a breaking point when I grew tired of being messaged to administrate more fringe groups, and decided to shut down the page a few days after my assistant at the time "took over the page", when he changed the password and locked me out. After a rather aggressive take back, I decided to shut down the page, and let me recover some from a nasty breakup that was also going on at the time.
So between July 20, to now, I've recovered and resumed operations on my personal page where I saw the creation of the "new" Americanfurs page, a page which I immediately noticed that lacked the professionalism of the "old" Americanfur page.
As time went on, I felt that I didn't care for this page anymore, and didn't want to come back, despite noticing some people not liking how the "new" Americanfurs page was running things. After a few days of thinking, and chatting with a few people that had expressed their opinions about the "new" page, I started thinking about partially re-activating this page, since I noticed that people were being turned off by the "PROJECT AMFURS", which was handled poorly, and a few talked to me about apparently some artists being highlighted for their work, when it was clearly biased in their nominations.
I have decided to re-activate this page, and run it as I had originally intended too, to be clean, simple, and to help US furs know each other more.

FA+

please, if you decide to watch the other account, don't un-watch this one; there will be no more ridiculous creating/deleting of journals, and it will be more minimalistic from here on out
That's on the other account's profile. I lol'd when I saw it.
