For those going to see Endgame don't forget your theater etiquette. And no spoilers!

Preferably, do so in the theater's bathrooms, not in your seat.
I'm just amused by the amount of people who are like "I can't sit through a three hour long movie without having to go to the bathroom." If you have bladder or medical issues, sure, you get a pass... but I feel like the average person should be able to cope for three hours unless they're loading up on liquids. Those giant theater-sized drinks are literally nicknamed "bladder busters" for a reason.
You don't need to eat in the theater.
You don't need to drink in the theater.
I ate right beforehand, and of course had no interest in eating/drinking during the movie.
I needed to pee after it was over, but I wasn't, like.. hopping from foot to foot in need.
action, horror, comedey and sci-fi/fantasy movies are meant to be interactive and fun to watch and enjoy. If I have to sit through movies that are meant to have audience participation like a statue, then I will find another theater that has no problem with that.
Me? I only see movies at the Alamo Drafthouse. They have an insanely strict no talking, no cellphones, not disturbances policy. When I watch a movie I want to be absorbed by it, no interruptions. Other people tend to ruin movies for me. Alamo fixes that. But everybody has their own preferences and needs.
The basic rule, regardless of theater: don't disturb the other people around you.
You'll appreciate this then. They actually play videos like this before their movies.
Ever seen a park after a rally or large event? The amount of trash people leave is shameful.
I've not got much experiences with those, but I've been to a few open-field boot sales where you'll find empty cans/cups/tissues blowing around here and there.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
I don't get the appeal of watching films with loads of strangers at all. They're getting up, walking around, eating noisily and there are always the kids, all while trying to be as quiet as possible yourself...I watched Jurassic World 2 on opening night, never again.
Meanwhile, watching Into the Spiderverse with my younger brother last month, entire room to ourselves, sitting in the middle of the VIP row in comfy seats while being able to talk and joke about the film, not worrying about anyone else. It was perfect. Would never do that with anyone else in the room of course, but it made it so much more enjoyable.
Cinemas are usually too crowded to be enjoyable for me. Me and my brother want to watch Detective Pikachu next month, ideally I want to wait a week or two for everything to settle down.
Not as bad as a ring tone that everyone else can hear. But seriously, guy?
So crinkly.
Now, second-run theaters will often have reasonable snack prices. This is because they show things late enough that they are actually making money from the box office.
