Change Log - 8.0

Copied and pasted from the Change log.
Version 8.0 -- “Open Beta”
This is it. Open Beta. A lot of fixes, but nothing crazy, other than the fact I’m pushing this out into the open for people to break at will. To be completely frank, this is less a change log for this entry and more a journal. It’s been a long ride, and of course I’m extremely nervous. Kept my head down and kept refining and changing and working on things, and there are still plenty of broken stuff, or so I think. I don’t know what to really think on the matter. Just keep hacking away. Hope that I get more positive reactions than negatives. Pray that people enjoy it and come back.
In any case, Open Beta. Mostly changes to Apex to make them slightly more balanced.
Apex
Kealldin (ID: 1)
Kealldin is in an incredibly strong spot. As such, I’m making it a bit more difficult to perform his Apex Action where he is strongest, requiring a sacrifice of a coin, but giving him the ability to have any Guest Overindulge. I think this trade-off will keep him in check for some of the games where he is favored.
-Apex Action: Now requires a Gluttony Coin to Perform.
Verak (ID: 2)
Verak could use a little bit of love, but not too much. He’s in a good spot but suffers from some difficulties understanding how he works. Some cleaning up of wording and a tiny buff to his Apex Action will help that.
-Apex Action: Reworded to ignore Stomach Capacity instead. Gives a Point so long as you are Overindulged at the end of your action.
Swiftwing (ID: 3)
-Apex Action: Fixed a spelling error.
Serena (ID: 4)
-Apex Action: Reworded to clarify how to use the card.
Ember (ID: 5)
Ember is incredibly strong, with no true visible way of altering her without nerfing her to oblivion. However, I’ve made an attempt, and we will see how she fares in this new world, sharing abilities with Boxer (which seems natural as thematically they are best friends.)
-Apex Passive
You now Apply Digestion to any Full Guest on your playmat.
Guests no longer get free digestion tokens in your Stomach.
No longer get 1 VP per 2 Digestion Tokens.
Flexier (ID: 6)
-Apex Action: Cannot start this Action when you are Overindulged. Mild reworking of wording for better clarification.
Steltin (ID: 7)
-Apex Action: Rewording for better clarity.
Lyssa (ID: 8)
Lyssa is getting a major change, again, to make her more generalized. However, her Rage tokens continue to prove an interesting mechanic, and now is has evolved into a form of super gauge, where more rage means more devastating attacks. Using any rage will always get her a Coin, so players are encouraged to leave her alone except for extreme opportunities.
-Apex Passive: You now claim Rage tokens when you are the Target of any Kick Out, including your own. You can have a maximum of three.
-Apex Action: You discard all Rage tokens, and based on the number you’ve discarded you can either 1) Lure and claim a Coin, 2) Kickout that is unignorable and claim a Coin, or 3) Devour any Feathery in Any Room and claim a Coin.
Boxer (ID: 9)
More changes, more changes. He’s getting tweaks to how much he generates as his ability to make VP on guests in stomach has been nerfed. He’s a greater coin generator than Ember in this update, but he’s easier to take advantage of.
-Apex Passive: You now get a Coin for every card that Digests on your Playmat. All cards in your Stomach are worth 1 VP.
Providence (ID: 10)
-Apex Action: Now allows discarding any card, and gives a Coin if he discards an Accessory.
Guests and Accessories
Trinkets and Baubles (ID: 72, 76)
Changed wording to ensure players understand that you can only ignore your own Actions.
Brass Pendant (ID: 100)
Now provided a Coin when you Discard.
