well, at least it wasn't a poison dart frog "shivers"... and yes, frogs have ""defenses" on their skin. its probably some mild form of irritant biochemical on the one featured in the video.

True, while the results were in fact "mild" in that is made me go nuts rubbing my eyes and blowing my runny nose until I wised up and washed my face, it was no fun at all. =/

That'll learn me. (actually I did it about 3 times before I figured it out-- don't rub your eyes after handling tree frogs!)
