God. Fluffing. Dammit.

I was let go from my job today. Possibly terminated >.> they were a bit unclear there but it’s because I had the gall to disagree with my boss on how we approached a web marketing client.
And by “how we approached” I mean we were currently taking their money, producing zero results, lying to them about it and continuing to do nothing of note. I took issue with that and provided critique and suggestions on how we could be doing a better job....apparently that’s considered “pushback” and it’s unacceptable.
So yeah...I’m jobless again.

That's pretty garbage. And terrible. I'm sorry you're going through this.
I hope you find work soon.
If they fire you then they're obligated to pay for the inconvenience of you having to find another job.
If they don't give you any reason at all...yeah, that sucks. "At will" employment only means they don't need to give you a reason for termination. If they do, then you have ammunition in case they fight the unemployment claim. In my state, if you file a wrongful termination vlaim and can prove it, you're automatically given the maximum unemployment rate and paid for back pay from the date of unemployment.
You can (and should) also contact the Better Business Bureau.
Unfortunately, you cannot contact the client and tell them what's been going on with their money. That's slander, and you can be sued for it. You also can't contact the news for the same reason.
It's also a bad idea to explain this how you explained it here to a future employer. You'd want to say something like "unfortunately, I was terminated." Less is more, and you have to emotionally wipe this termination clean before you pursue new employment. Most people screw this up in a paper application by elaborating.
If they ask what for, keep it emotionally clean. You can truncate it and amplify yourself by stating something like: "My viewpoint on how to handle a particular client wasn't in alignment with my management's plan. I didn't realize this difference of opinion was a risk to my employment. I'm looking forward to having the ability to practice what I've learned from this, and align more successfully with your company's vision."
It sounds like a copout - because it is. Anything is fair game when seeking new employment, and employers would rather see someone who can "admit their faults" and have used them to "grow," rather than seeing a bitter apple. I know this first-hand, I've been on both sides of the table.
Good luck, and again, I'm sorry this happened to you.
I have seen police officers say as much in front of someone claiming the other was slandering them. "It's not slander if it's true."
Back...inside the building...he can't get back into...
Besides, all they need to do is 10% of the work, to show they are doing something, and it becomes a slander case. They could do that in the month it takes to get a court date.
I have not seen this end well when I've seen it.

Hope you can find another job!
Most people don't realize this.

From my experience, companies have more legal access and leverage to combat these kinds of things than I'd like to see. And his former employer has an ace in the hole - "we fired him, and he's just lashing out."
Whistleblower cases have a lot more gravity when you still have access to the materials in question.
Best of luck with finding work. Hopefully the next job won't be as toxic.
