Was wonderin’ why in the nine hells everyone was suddenly fixated on shinies on my journals list lol, completely missed the announcement.

Negative Nancies aside, I have a bit of a misgiving about the system tho, namely using paypal, since it’s notoriously prone to screwing around with anything NSFW related. My fears might be misguided (and I hope they are), but I don’t like the idea of PP suddenly getting their nips in a twist and start freezing accounts (especially given how toxic some folks can be). That said, not like I have any better idea.

I've been here for a long time. I'm fully aware of the site's security. DDoS is *not* going to compromise data. Make sure you know what you're talking about, first.

Also, no website is completely secure. Not Amazon, not Paypal, not even your bank. This Shinies system is going through Paypal, though, not FA's systems themselves, so it's actually more secure than the main site.

I'm Anti-change, I hate change, I even hate the visual changes too, I want it reverted back.

I heard about this shiny system and the concern I have is Paypal having a direct line to my NSFW art. That goes against their ToS and I already had Paypal freeze my account once back on Tumblr for putting a donate button on my Tumblr page.

I cannot feel safe using this knowing that Paypal can potentially freeze my account unless there is actual confirmation that I am safe.
