Thank you to everyone from FA who's followed me and made me welcome so far. I'll be posting a lot of my FA and other stuff there over the next few weeks plus any WIPs or anything I feel like sharing =3

Which brings me onto something a bit less happy...p

It turns out that since 2015 a twitter user has been impersonating and claiming my rhino Gustav as their own character, as well as taking artwork I've posted in my gallery (stuff I've drawn as well as stuff I've commissioned from other artists like  blitztaison ,  braford0005 and  maldu ) and posting it as their own. All this was done without permission and has left me feeling pretty upset and angry.

If you want to RP as a fictional character, fine. More power to you; there's literally thousands out there from games and shows and all sorts out there. Or even better, create your own. We need more rhinos in this world. But don't go taking somebody else's character or sona and pass it off as your own. That's just not on.

Gustav means a great deal to me personally. I've put a lot of time, effort and love into developing him over the years and spent money on commissioning artwork of him. He's one of my favourite OC's to use and it means an awful lot to me that so many people like him. It's a nice feeling when something (or someone) you created makes people happy.

There's a lot of ME in Gustav, even though he's not my full-on fursona. And it's really upsetting to know that someone has taken something so personal to me that I've invested so much into and passed him off as their own. It feels quite violating and sickening to think of him being used by someone else and in a way that's against everything my character represents.

Sure, Gustav is sexual. He is flirty and is generally pretty horny (lol). But he's also jovial, gentle, romantic, sensual and loving and is above all else a showman who wants to make people happy. THAT is whole point of his character.

He's not an overly dominant or sleazy or anything like that. He's a mixture of my personality, traits I value and traits wish I had. He is not solely RP or jerk off material.

I'm not trying to be whiny or over the top, this is genuinely how I feel.

I'm now speaking directly to the user in question. I'm guessing you're one of my watchers because of all the artwork you've taken from my gallery. I won't name and shame.

Firstly, thank you for dropping Gustav as a character when this was brought to light. I hope you have fun with your RPs etc. with this other character you've chosen for yourself.

But as I, and a few others, have asked you so far:

Please take Gustav and my artwork off your media.

You do NOT have my permission to use it. It is not yours to use and you're not even using Gustav anymore. So please take my stuff off your page.

Gustav is my character and mine alone.

*deep breath* Rant over.

I also want to say thank you to those who've reported this to twitter and for backing me up throughout this whole thing. None of you had to do it but I'm very grateful to my friends and people I didn't even who've stood up for me because of this theft. It really means a lot.
