I had the best time on Eurofurence last week!
The down side of it was that because I had registration number 808, I was put in the Overflow hotel and had to ride the shuttle bus up and down the hill every day (even meeting two dutch Fursuiters :3).. But it was all worth it!
I especially enjoyed the moments when a Fursuit came over and I was able to hug them, but it was also awesome to meet people I've seen last year like
or seeing a few dear friends of mine again..
I bought a few prints here and there, and a fennec plushie that attracted a lot of attention, including
who couldn't keep his paws off my fennec X3
Of course I took a lot of pictures and shot a 'few' videos with my digital camera, trying to catch as many Fursuits on film as possible
The best part of the whole convention (in my opinion) was the Pawpet show "Operation Desert Snow", which had a lot of humor that made us all laugh for a while. If I hadn't returned that night, I would've missed out on a lot, so I'd like to thank
for convincing me to return, even though he was talking about the Big Blue Dance, which came after the Pawpet show, which was delayed because of something important..
One stupid thing was that I forgot to bring along my sketchbook, leaving me without something to draw on, but luckily
was kind enough to share some pieces of paper with me, so I were still able to scribble some things :3
Even Furgeta gave me a piece of paper, and I thanked him for that by drawing a pic of Sasha, and giving it to him after I was done.
Another bad thing was that one day, my stomach started acting funny, destroying my appetite and giving me a nauseous feeling and letting me think I had to throw up early in the morning, which seemed to be over later in the afternoon.. It could be because of the water I drank in the hotel, or the bouncy bed I shared with Itchigo, or the trips up and down the hill.. I tried to get it out of my system, but nothing came out at all, maybe because I didn't have anything to actually throw up.. It didn't change at all during the train ride home either, as I at one point felt like really throwing up inside the train.. Either way, after I came back home, I felt better already, and my appetite has returned..
Thank you all for making this the best 4 days of my life! :3
