A Bit Of Fun. No Fry or Laurie, Just Fun.

There is no gift more precious or rare in this world than true love. Treasure those who share it with you.
Nothing against either of those fine fellows, or their show either. It's a good show and Lucy knows I'd fancy a bourbon or ten with either of them. *titters* Just a bit of faffery that was on my mind concerning my most recent posting for our son's 1/3 cumpleanos...

In many of my comics and art images, whether dealing with political issues and religious whackery or beloved old horror movies and video games, I often sneak in a great big butt-shovel of references to other things- completely unrelated. Sometimes this is to make a point. Sometimes its a bit of a social experiment. Generally it's just for a larf for the people who notice them.
In this image, I intentionally made 5 references to other creatives and their work. *head tilts* Seeeeven, technically but, that's something we can sort in the wash.
If you're the sort who might enjoy this type of goofery, type yourself up a comment with your list and I might just note you back with something today. *snofts* I did get the afternoon off after all... Oh, and just as a freebie, I'm not counting Corey, the Prinny, as a Disgaea reference in that list of five.
*beams* Amo a mi familia.
Again, THANK YOU for any and all of the positive feedback and buckets of love from you awesome folkes. Please, keep being awesome to one another, you beautiful bastards.

1. Morrigana Addams, the first one I noticed becuase of my love for the Addams.
2. MLP Moon
3. Jerry McCormick the baseball player?
That's all I can find atm...
Sidenote: It took me FOREVER to notice Corey in the image. I though it was the body of the skeleton in some outfit. -_-
Though I think you meant "Morticia Addams", I'm now picturing this new re-boot of "The Addams Family" in which the matriarch of the household is now a fiery red-headed Scotswoman. *giggles* "Gohmaiz, Whet did ye do with meh gran'dam's battle-axe?!"
btw, did you know there is a reboot coming out?

As much as I love (and get compated to)Raul Julia's wide-eyed, bombastic yet continental and hypnotic take on the character of Gomez, I'll readily admit Its a FAR cry from the original character, the more sickly, hunched, soft-spokenly creepy fellow. John Astin was close to this and gave a great performance as the original Gomez of the two seasons of television but nooooot quite there.
I'm hopeful on that one. VERY hopeful.
Though back to your original list...
The entire image was indeed a reference to the Addams Family, Sanita and I specifically set in the scene from the Tim Burton film of the happy couple relaxing in the family graveyard, with Sanita specifically drawn in a style somewhat reminiscent of the original comics.
The moon is indeed the "mare in the moon", surrounded by the 5 points of Twilight's cutie mark, implying Celestia's star pupil being in a special place in Luna's heart. I've just heard so many heart-warming romantic stories about those two, a few very romantic clops, even. I'm an absolute sucker for a beautiful romance... *sighs*
As to the last one, I'm afraid you have me at a loss. I don't know whom this baseball player is, love. Expound, please?
1. The Addams connection, as mentioned in tone, Sanita's outfit and specific moment from the Tim Burton film.
2. The aforementioned MLPFiM point of "the mare in the moon" and Twilights cutie Mark.
3. Bendy and The Ink Machine was the boutique for my outfit, a slight difference from Alice Angels, being sans horn\halo.
4. Adventure Time has the crown of Princess Bubblegum on the skeletal serpents head.
5. "Jerry McCormick" is the title of One of my favourite poems by Robert frost.
As to the other "kinda references"- more "inspirations" than anything.
6. The gloomy puppet show was originally the central idea of the piece which in itself was the name of a special attack in Darkstalkers- Vampire Saviour but along the way the notion morphed into a romantic play take on the battle between King Kong and the t-rex in the classic movie. The giant reptile was substituted with a snake as it made more sense both in blocking and narrative flow.
7. The dead rat came as I was listening to music while working, specifically "Rats" by Ghost.
Love Darkstalkers but dont know many of the attack names aside Midnight Bliss.
Never heard that song.
The war raven plays Morticia, somebody contact Heep and see if they can do her theme.
