September 30th is recognized by many groups- atheists, humanists, Satanists, both theistic and atheistic as "International Blasphemy Day". For many folkes in TST, it's a day of much frivolity and much conflict.

The reason for the day being the continued shameful existence of blasphemy laws in many countries of the world. The purpose being the education of individuals and groups about these blasphemy laws, promoting freedom of expression, especially the open criticism of religion which is criminalized in many countries. Depending upon your place in the world, this can be very dangerous. For most Americans, it often takes the form of much bickering and arguing online, sharing the joy of seeing who's got the punchiest memetics mocking organized religion. Good fun.

September 30th, I added a new piece to the family altar -a blood painting from a fellow Satanist- fantastic, charming little piece.

September 30th  Sanita_squirrel , my muse, my partner in Satanism and my wife, just had to blow me completely out of the water. She added our daughter.
