"NY Furs 10 Year Reunion!: A tale of Sliders, Smash & Samurai

On July 27th the NY Furs will unite for an event a decade in the making. It’ll be a homage to the first meet I, Frisky Soulwolf, have ever hosted. It’ll run from 2 pm to 12 am so it’ll be a full day about creating memories and reminiscing. I’ll be hosting it at my house where people can either hang out in the backyard or chill in my apartment and play some games. To make things simple I’ll be posting my full address, I trust y’all not to send me anything weird in the mail.

To get there your best bet is to take the J train to Van Siclen station

From 2 to 5 we’ll be doing a meet and greet where people will come in, get to know each other and just relax. Please feel free to bring video games, board games or any other entertainment you want to share with others. It’s also highly encouraged that you bring snacks and drinks as well. Alcohol is permitted as long as you’re 21 and over. Any other recreational activities you might want to indulge yourself in must be done off the premises.

At 5 I’ll be gathering everyone to go on a field trip to White Castle just like me and small group of furs did 10 years ago. The castle is located on the corner of Shepard and Atlantic ave for those of you who are coming late and want to meet us there.
We should be back at my place by 7 and that’s when a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate tournament will begin with a prize up for grabs. You’ll be able to sign up for it all day long until the tournament commences. After the tournament I’ll be introducing most of you to this really cool movie called Samurai Cop which will come with rifftrax commentary but, providing your own is also encouraged.

Once again this meet is for everyone even if you’re from out of state, so I recommend to spread the word so we can see as many familiar and new faces as possible. Fursuits are welcomed but I warn you it’ll probably very hot out, so wear them at your own risk.
