Nothing is ever easy,the world is hardly kind,
though we're always searching,for some reason or sign,
love,happiness and peace is not a thing we can find,
for at the end of the story,we're the author of our life.
Some take to setting barriers,some may break down walls,
While some might hide behind a veil of lies,
too afraid of the truth coming to light
or letting someone see all their scars.
A broken heart is never easy to mend, words left unspoken leaves regret,
time is distant,space is often cold,nothing is new but nothings really old,
while some may wish to make it right, the plague of silence destroys any attempt,
and though we wish to remain in a world of fantasy...
