As I wave a bittersweet goodbye to #AC2019, I thought I'd share some thoughts about my first ever Anthrocon. My fursuit debut seems to have been a great success. So many positive vibes and good feelings. My boy has definitely earned his first bath.

The parade was an amazing experience. It was very emotional for me in many ways. Heck thinking about it now just brings all those emotions flooding back to my mind. I nearly cried out there because I felt like the most true form of myself, and because it's been on my to do list since I joined the fandom in 2007.

Say what you will about Uncle Kage, but he and the Anthrocon board and staff have put together something very special that other cons can only dream of. Nowhere have I ever seen a city so willingly and happily intertwined with this community.

Then there's the smiles brought to so many children's faces, all the high-fives, all the pictures, and most of all the new friends. Fursuiting brings about a new sense of brother and sisterhood that I didn't understand before, but am so happy to be a part of.

Special shout outs to my fellow OFAers (especially those of you who romped around with me for hours ), the studio (), my friends both new and old (one of which definitely romped around with me for hours XD ), and most importantly my partner . Without you, none of this would have been possible. You all are near and dear to my heart, and the memories and experiences from this con will be cherished forever. Thank you so very much from the bottom of my heart.
