Thank you all and I'm sorry.

"Call Twilight Sparkle... shit's about to get magical!"
Ok.
I think I'm feeling a little better now (and a little more level headed).
I REALLY needed to get this off my chest because I literally couldn't take it anymore.
Here's my final take on this.
If you don't wanna get the new games, fine. It's TOTALLY your call and you are well within your rights to not wan to. But, it is not fine to belittle the people who are excited for the games just because they're excited for it.
This issue with the dex and development with the games as been a cesspool on both sides. Both people supporting the game and being against it.
You have every right to be upset with Game Freak's decisions, but try to respect the people who are trying to understand the reasons behind them. If they try to quash misinformation or try to put something into perspective, at least hear them out and don't just say they're blindly defending the game when they're legit trying to put things into a proper light.
If you wanna stop playing pokemon, there's plenty of other alternatives.
But, here's what I want everyone to understand.
It's okay to be upset and disappointed, this happens to EVERYONE and with ANY kind of game (seriously, look at any fighting game that's been out).
But, if someone wants to be excited for a game, let them.
If someone is defending a game, but is giving legitimate reasoning, hear them out.
Above, just try to be nice and respectful to each other. Kay?

I'm sick of the Sword and Shield drama.
I miss the times where debates are simply where two opposite factions legitimately criticize their different viewpoints to show why they like/don't like something and why. And when it is all done and over, both leave more enlightened about the situation. I do not like people ridiculing others for having their own opinion, as their own opinion is that.
I am glad you do have somewhat of a similar mindset. ^^ It is refreshing to hear that you stand the ground on where you are at.
Don't get me wrong, people are allowed to like it or hate it as much as they want. I just wish the positives and negatives could be discussed in general and not have whatever is opposite to the common consensus being dismissed out-of-hand.
Like, you can be a fan of a thing and still criticise it. There's nothing wrong with admitting "yeah, they're clearly lying about their reasons for cutting out Pokémon, but I'm going to buy it anyway." That's fine. But how anyone can sit by and say that it's A-OK that Game Freak are rushing out a game and lying about the animations is beyond me. That's just corporate boot-licking. I mean, we've seen the "animations" that're apparently taking up too much space for all 800+ Pokémon and... They're literally the same animations they've used since XY. Even the rival character uses the exact same animations as Hau from SMUSUM. They still don't even animate the human characters' faces. They've improved on nothing and taken away a lot. I don't get how anyone can defend or even support that. Again, fine to be excited, fine to continue being a fan, but people really need to accept you can criticise things you like instead of just sitting there being happy with less than you deserve. And it's not "entitlement" (the internet's new favourite word) when you're literally paying £50+ for it.
Why does pokemon get scrutinized for reusing animations? If they have a character with the same personality, why the hell not make them similar. It's a nice Easter egg. They don't animate faces? Have you seen the latest trailer from earlier this week? Hell, your trainer now emotes! They CHEER on your team during raids when they get taken out. Have you seen their expressions when they throw their Dynamaxed pokeball? Have you seen the crowds cheering in the stadiums? They're trying to make the games feel like they're on a grander scale. As for the animations? Don't go using Double Kick or Tail Whip as starting points. We've seen how great the Max Moves look. People say "Battle Revolution is the standard for animations." Those moves take over 10 seconds to do. True, they're well animated, but BR was all PvP and no story. They could afford to do that.
Now, does the game look great? Of course not. It looks good for a pokemon game. I think people were expecting it to look like BoTW or Odyssey, but give GF time. They have the means to make pokemon look like that if they choose. Personally, I want it to be more cel-shaded and be more in line with the anime.
Also, you do realize they can't really afford to delay the games right? A lot of things rely on the new generation to come out. The anime, TCG, manga, and the TONS of merch that need to come out NEED to coincide with the new generation.
So... does what I just said make me a bootlicker? I'm defending the game, but with facts and info I gathered AND with a little digging.
It's easy to regurgitate what someone else says and take it as fact because they have a lot of pull, but try to do your own research.
There was a brief clash in my Telegram group about the same subject which resulted in one of my friends getting depressed because a person on Team National Dex shared an image that basically called him a "Conformist Fan" and topped off the the quote "Don't think, just consume product, and wait for the next product."
All of this drama is so exhausting and it's so ridiculous, and just seems to get more ridiculous as trailers are released and people find something else benign to get pissed off about to call Game Freak lazy and spread their hashtag around.
It's a freaking video game.
For children.
And these are mostly 20-30 year olds seething with rage over something they'll forget about later when Game Freak develops the Gen 9 titles and does something else they don't like, and then use Sword and Shield as an example of what they should have done :V
It happened with Black and White, it happened with Sun and Moon, and it happened with Let's Go.
I just wish people could debate with different opinions without starting WWIII but I guess that's just too much to ask...
A Chinese bootleg pokemon game that doesn't even have everything the series is known for does not have the same level of passion the creators themselves have is NOT a better game.
If you want people to look for alternatives, don't go posting garbage like that.
The entire reason that video was posted was for animations. Nothing more. It was not a suggestion of "this is a fully better game experience".
If they have the means to make the games look great.. Well I look forward to the next generation then, when they get it right.
It's one thing to call out problematic issues or unethical behaviour, but this Pokemon "controversy"?? Very rude :<
