So, I've been relatively quiet over here. A metric crap load of stuff's been happening, both good and bad, and I feel like it's only fair I update ya'll.

Firstly, the bad:
-I've had a bit of bad luck when it's come to school in that I lost a very important scholarship, and if my appeal doesn't go through, I'll be in need of $4000 suddenly so that' been worrying me sick.

-I recently cut ties with someone very close to me due to the friendship souring and it's left me feeling rather melancholy for the past week or so, but I know in the end it'll be good for the both of us.

-An internship I applied for along with countless job applications were all denied, leaving me without a consistent source of income this summer


So that's all pretty darn lame, but I'm trying to stay positive. On the good side of things:

-I've come across a few petsitting jobs that pay decently well

-It's looking more and more likely that come next school year, I'll be able to move into an apartment with my furry friend, so art and stuff will still be 100% doable.

-The family's going on a short little 3 day vacation starting Wednesday so I think the little break will do nicely for me.

Overall, it's just been a constant stream of input happening and it's left me feeling rather frazzled and emotionally confused. It's killed my drive a bit for art, but I'm hoping this vacation helps fix some things and raises my spirits!
