I was looking through an old journal of mine that I kept sort of as an everything book. Like little life tidbits and stuff I thoughts I felt necessary to write. I stumbled onto a section in that journal of when I was the art club president at my college at the time. It’s funny how I had lesson ideas, I wanted to teach and share how to make stickers, what materials I used, share some tutorials that help me out, and methods I used to get into digital art. Sadly while reading all of these brought back a lot of bad memories from all the push back of friends not helping me spread the word nor help put up posters to advertise, the instructor of the club pretty much ignoring me when I suggested things and demanded to know our budget, wanting to do fundraisers and such but everyone only being halfway on things. I ended up quitting after being supremely frustrated from all the push back for more than half of the semester, I do wish I could do some sort of critique system for young artists or some sort of teaching but I don’t know if anyone would be interested in that. Maybe something for another day or sometime in the future if there are people into the idea.
