Helping Hands
I've been spending alot of my time lately helping my friend
Panda-Jenn get back on her feet, which in turn has kept me motivated to keep LUA going. Jesonite from DA was having a live session with some art friends on picarto this past week also and they were already well deep into conversation before I got there, but one of the points Jeso made was keep going - keep drawing - skill, technique, and style will follow - so I threw my update schedule out the window. I could've stuck to one but I enjoy drawing and want to share LUA with everyone so I was slipping back into an update pattern I had for YouTube wich was do all the work ahead of time and set it to upload when it's supose to, wich was a schedule I really didn't want to get back into. I do see my art improving (at least from sketching point of view) so even if I'm refrencing material based on what I've sketched, it's slowly coming full circle so I know how to draw that stuff without needing to refrence anything.
Funny story, every now and then my mouse gets clogged up with dirt(especially around the mouse wheel), oils from my fingers, etc.. and this last time when I took it apart the mouse wheel literaly disentegrated on me. I say it's a funny story since I mouse-and-keyboard everything from lack of a tablet. Before I took the mouse apart I was having trouble with shading because the mouse would shoot off the screen from lack of feet. After taking it apart and replacing it with a mouse that has feet, my problem with shading hasn't changed any really so that will be an area I'll be working on also. I'm not sure if having a tablet would do anything however I'm always open minded so if one landed in my lap I'd use it(or try to use it).
I appreciate everyone that's stopped by to look at what i'm trying to do,
Logan
