I had to get stitches tonight! (I'm good tho)

I was gonna upload some stuff, but I cut my knee open real good on a piece of broken glass in the basement this evening, bled a very decent amount. My gf and my housemate were the best tho, and I got to have my first ever adventure in an Urgent Care clinic!
Verdict: it was kind of really cool! The late night crew there was real nice and I got seen quickly. Got to have an X-ray to see if there were still glass fragments in the wound (there weren't, thank goodness). Last time I had one of those was 15 years ago, it's an incredibly quick process now!
I got a tetanus shot which was fine (arm's sore), just in case. And then I got to joke with the nice doc, ask her questions, and watch while she stitched up my knee! 4 Stitches, not too bad at all. Really cool to watch. Gotta have 'em in for 10 days, then if I go back there to get 'em taken out they'll do it for free.
UNFORTUNATELY this means that I gotta have 'em in over labor day weekend, where my mates and I are going to a LARP event. RIP, time to play a non-combat nobleman.
I leave for that Friday, and I'll be uploading finished comms Thursday!

Glad you're doing well! :D Your LARP character should have a walking cane, opulently decorated and embellished with carvings and jewels.
also mads and I have been the the ER many times (he gets kidney stones quite a bit) and it's like going to a whole other world. usually it sucks and time stands still haha (I usually always have unblock me on my phone for us to play) and we end up not getting back home till 2 in the morning because everyone is so damn slow in the ER
