Half a day is better than no day.

With my fast pass for Avatar's Flight of Passage scheduled at 3 but the parks closing at 2 I decided to rope drop the park super early. Left the hotel around 6, went into the park around 7. Barely even 50 people there. They let us in and almost everyone made a hurried walk towards Pandora. Was in and through the standard lane within the span of 10 minutes. Strapped myself in and put on the 3d glasses and finally I get to see what all the fuss is all about.
Blew my freaking mind! Imagine the giant screen from Soarin, the crazy flying from Star Tours, and being the little hood ornament on the vehicle. I haven't made so much noise on a ride in a long time. It was by far one of the best rides I've ever been on. And the best part, no crowds because of the hurricane. Rode it two more times within the next hour. The second time I started to get woozy. The third made me glad I skipped breakfast because my head and stomach were quite shaken. Took a nap on the River Journey which was very relaxing.
Ate breakfast at the Tusker House buffet and got to meet Safari Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Daisy and my favorite Donald Duck. ^_^ Went on the safari next. Barely any animals seen at first but luckily got a close encounter with a curious giraffe and was in for a treat as we passed the lions. A lioness perched herself on a rock over looking us and roared at us several times which according to the operator was a rare occurance. The male lion got up and went up to the edge of the rock and we waited for him to roar. He just pointed his ass at us and squirted a jet of lion piss in our direction. Apparently that isn't a rare occurance though it was a first for me. Luckily I was on the opposite side.
Rode the train to Planet Watch, killed time in the petting zoo, rode the train back. Rode the rapids and got soaked quite alot and started my way back to leave the park just before noon. I rode everything and saw all the shows before plus I was still sore from the last night. Soaking my feet in a cooler of hot water filled with epson salts and lavendar. May take a nap, then the pool, and if I'm lucky and they open the parks tomorrow normally, I need to get to bed early so I can rope drop Hollywood Studios and make my reservation to build a droid and maybe ride the Falcon.
Managed to finish an anime series while waiting today. I may finish another or a movie tomorrow.
Here's your distraction for the day.
And since we're on the subject...

Okay, watched the distraction. Nice music (I picked out one of every four words) but for the life of me I have never understood the attraction of women shaking their asses. Yes, I love women but come on, all they are doing is twisting their hips and they are cheap animation to start with.
