Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance

I'm sure some of you are already aware, but Netflix finally released their Dark Crystal prequel series a few days ago.
Some of you might also know that it... is. Excellent
I totally recommend watching it, and staying for the behind-the-scenes special after the conclusion. Puppetry is an underappreciated art and it's really incredible.
Actually a good number of people these days probably haven;t seen the original Dark Crystal film either. Like, it's just Good Stuff. All of it!
If you heard about it but you don't have any idea what it is, don't pass it up... just take my word for it and check it out :D

Does it get better?
They did a fantastic job capturing the look and feel from the original 80s movie.
Also who were your fave characters? mine were Deet and Aughra ^_^. (Aughras ALWAYS a win XD)
I gotta say, Deet was my favourite too... she was just so enthusiastic and naive in such an endearing way. Born yesterday, as far as the world above :D Though it stabbed my heart when other gelfling were prejudiced toward her x.x
Mark Hamil is wonderful in anything he voices <3
But I watched the first episode and just didn't like it....
I admire the production so much, and it's very well put together. I really wanted to enjoy it, but I just couldn't.
I understand I'm in the minority here, and despite not being hooked, I'm definitely going to keep watching.
I hope my opinion of the show improves as I go!

also haven't watched it yet, removed my netflix for political reasons.
Should sail the high seas to watch it.
But that was then, and now I'm realizing it wasn't supposed to be a scary thing? And maybe I should give the original a shot to sort of face my fears and see that it's not a bad thing perhaps.
