But damn am I tempted to throw out my college obligations for a chance to meet the one and only Dangerous Faggot™ Milo Yanonopoulos. If any of you guys are going, buy that dude a beer for me.
He was pre-emptively banned, and I dunno whats going on behind the scenes but I would bet you if he shows up he'll be escorted away by police immediately.
After seeing how people behaved when he was scheduled to give a speech at UC Berkeley, I would rather argue his presence will bring potential danger/violence.
I see what you mean, though it is not his fault directly. It's shameful how the irrational whackos have such out-sized negative influence just from their appalling disproportionate hysterics.
It's especially effective in groups of young people. Colleges, furry conventions, etc.
Anywhere the population is around mid-teen to late 20s, you're going to see drama and hysterics around trolls because young people often lack the perspective of age to know those trolls are irrelevant and can be safely ignored. To someone in their 20s, this stuff is a big deal.
To the rest of us, it's re-runs of I Love Lucy but with fursuits. (random show chosen because that's what was always on the TV when I was growing up). Same shit, different day.
Milo will be attending?

Things will get interesting.

No wonder I distance my self from modern Furry.
