AFTER LIKE A YEAR AND A HALF. I FINALLY.
FINALLY HAVE MY CR-1 VISA.
We just bought the tickets and I will be permanently staying in America. x___x I will be officially OFF this island forever on the 25th. And lemme just say it can't be a moment too soon.
BUT LEMME NOT RANT TOO MUCH, everything I could ever say about how much I HATE immigration has been said tens of thousands of times. If you GENUINELY don't know the struggle I had to go through to get to this point, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tXqnRMU1fTs
Sorry, I wouldn't be doing my past self-justice if I at least didn't try to explain to people how hard it really is. I can't tell you how many Americans have just been like "Why don't you just come over???" as tho it's that simple.
SO NOW THAT I'M FINALLY PAST THAT PART OF MY LIFE. (thank fucking God)
I can actually start DOING something with my life, jesus.
And that includes going to my first con!
There's a very VERY good chance I'm going to be at Anime Weekend Atalanta! A friend of mine is going and it looks like I'll be there in time to attend and meet them!
I'M SO PUMPED FOR THIS. I'VE BEEN WANTING THIS FOR YEAAAAAAAARRSS.
So ANYWAY, Yeah. if I suddenly drop off the map around the 25th, YOU'LL KNOW WHY.
Honestly, I'm so glad I'm getting out now (not just because I'm in my later 20's and I sure as hell ain't gettin' any younger) because.....Eh.. Yeah. Hurricane Dorian almost came for my wig TBH. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-lati.....erica-49602445
If I didn't live on the capital-- there's no guarantee that I'd even still be here to type this tbh. 🙃
That aside-- Art-wise, I'm still very VERY burnt out from having to do commissions for 9 years to sustain myself since theirs literally zero job opportunities in the Bahamas. I really REALLY need time to learn to love drawing again. I don't think I'll ever go back to doing commissions ever again if I can help it? They've currently only been open to friends for the last 2 years and It's been taking me around 4 months to finish one picture these days. Just ugh.
Regardless! Anyone whose stuck around on my watchlist all these years and actually still care about me or my art. THANK YOU. I really mean that. <:
ByeBye for now!

job opportunities are also very hard to come by in America, did you have a friend that was able to help you find a place?
I'll be living with in-laws so, I'll be fine living wise for the time being. :B
