I wouldn't mind shorter waiting times but sometimes one can't overcome obstacles (irl life etc) however it tries, so I understand why it will take a while.
When I reserved a commission I was aware I may wait for half a year for my turn. That's the price for waiting for high quality art I guess. It also allows me to think through the final idea for commission to some degree (2 concepts I consider at this moment)

The most important thing, I can tell that the quality of product doesn't decrease regardless of waiting time in your case. Also, it's good you ask for payment when the one's turn starts so it's easier to deal with long wait. All in all, Good luck!

Humans are hard for me, exactly they faces :D. + Depends will they nude or not. Cloth hard too)

Well, the second concept I thought for my commission does include a nude human with a dragoness... The problem with the human face can be solved with posing in certain way I guess so only side of cheek can be seen.
