On one side you have Beasts of the Mesozoic's Kickstarter going featuring the most neglected dinosaurs to ever grace toy isles, the Ceratopsians. I mean yeah, they've been made before... But are usually built with five points of articulation, colored like elephants/rhinos/melted crayons. Thank you BOTM for creating these!
Next up? The Tyrannosaurs!!! Link to Kickstarter below:

And of course Mattel's "Amber Collection". I'm not caring about the human figures (no offense ol' Jeff Goldblum!), give me more poseable dinosaurs!!! First up is the classic Velociraptor. Gamestop has them for sale on their website for sale, and in-store (good luck with that!). So far this thing screams for customization for many a scaley raptor! Try to ignore the amber stand looking like a puddle of piss >.> Link below:

On another side of the dark moon of emptiness, my super old Lenovo X200 Tablet that's responsible for every piece of digital art shown here since 2010'ish, finally starting to show its age. Not sure how much longer it'll hang since drawing images with more than 20 layers choke it to near death, with fans screaming for dear life, whose backside becomes hotter than the devil's a$$. Rambling... I'm holding out for a newer machine this coming November. *cross fingers*

If you haven't already done it, back up everything you care about on your tablet, *now*. Not only your artwork files, but things like the brushes or textures for your paint program, your Web browser profile (with your bookmarks), all that stuff. Also, make sure you can read the backup files on some other computer. This will prevent crying if the tablet hard drive dies for good, and will at least save you the trouble of having to take the hard drive out of the tablet and plug it into another PC if the tablet itself dies. The local computer store sells a USB flash drive for $24 that's bigger than the entire (stock) hard drive in your tablet, so it's not even that expensive to get a copy of everything. :)
~9 years is a pretty good run, but if you want to *try* to stretch it, you might consider cleaning out the air vents and fans on your tablet. They tend to build up dust/hair/fur/feathers over time, and not cool as well as they used to. The trouble is that the dust, etc, tends to pile up in spots where you really need to take it apart to clean it; it's hard to do from the outside of the tablet. Any place that fixes laptops is used to doing this, but they will probably charge $50 to $100 for it, and maybe you'd rather put that money towards a new machine. You can also open it up yourself and clean it, but if you've never taken a laptop apart before, see if anyone you know has done it before and would be willing to look over your shoulder, in exchange for cookies or beer or whatever. :)
But I have taken apart laptops before. It's been cleaned. But its likely just time to replace ol' reliable. Its maxed out in memory and still struggle with a multilayered picture. And of course, I've DEFINITELY backed up everything. It took ONE hard drive failure for me to back everything as much as I can when I can.
