Im a happy rat!

Been a while since I have been this comfortable, so I figured Id finally post an entry here!
So I recently came out as bisexual, after a decade of 'damage control' and was almost immediately brought back here! Needed people to talk to about this stuff and be myself around and finally decided to venture into the forums! Its good to be myself again! Thankyou to all the people on the forum that were incredibley nice to me when I first got here! I owe you all big time!
Anyway, the other reason I wanted to post something was that I wanted to set some kind of 'Art Jam' up with everyone! As of yet im not sure what form this will take, but I will try to work it out in my head! Wanted it to be... varied, to get everyones take on singular ideas. Got the urge to do this from a sort of 'mini art jam' occurred, as we both tried to imagine what a 'mantis-bunny' hybrid would look like! Turns out to be much cuter than I thought! Had great fun figuring this one out! I dunno, I think it would be nice to have a few people work to the same prompt once a week! Maybe post the idea of the week in my journal and a forum thread, see how many people I can get working on this stuff! Just for the fun of it, nothing too serious! Though I am keen to see how far outside the box we end up ^v^ Ill figure it out and maybe start something up next week!

Happy rats are the best rats and I'm glad you have a place, like here, to let it all flow free.
Of course yes! Happy rats are the best rats! So I shall try and unleash a vermintide of it! ^v^

Oh, and yeah, felt pretty good actually! Like I say, its the comfiest I have felt in over a decade! Is still a big adjustment though, like how am I supposed to act and stuff, but Ill just have to try being myself for once! Im sure Ill be OK! ^v^
It's not every day that someone "answers their own question" like that in a way. I was ABSOLUTELY going to say that being yourself is about the only way you're "supposed" to act after lifting this particular weight off your shoulders.

Almost like deciding to put on an old suit that's hanging in a bag in the closet. Is it gonna fit right after so long? Can you even remember what color it is? No idea, but you just KNOW that finally putting it back on is gonna be the greatest thing ever.

On a slightly different topic XD How does your streaming work? Is there a program you use to display your screen publicly? Or is it a sort of 'being on camera' thing? Sorry I suck at explaining tis too, but I miss the open canvas days of being able to draw stuff with people ^v^ Just wondering, as I am embarassingly shy on camera XD

As for streaming nowadays, drawing actively with others on the same canvas has kinda gone by the wayside. Any more, people just stream on sites like Picarto for the enjoyment of an audience. If you either get, or know someone that has Picarto premium, the closest to it that people regularly use is "multi-streaming" where they'll have their own up at the same time as yours and both streams share a chat window and audience.
Fortunately, you don't have to be on camera at all, you can just show the canvas. Me, personally, I'm a fan of OBS (Open Broadcast Software) for doing that. My clients, who're the ones actually streaming, tend toward that one too because of how easy it is to use starting out, but still has a great deal of powerful and useful features once you get more accustomed to it.
