You can go from knowing someone close and special for the past 5 years long distance relationship, help them move to you for a year to finally live together in person then the next day they just dip.

For those of you who don't know, my girlfriend and I broke up. Not trying to make this a pity post or complain about "omfg I hate my life now I'm single aaaaaaah" but I'm still a bit hurt from how it all went down. I won't share why cause it's a bit too personal but my girlfriend wasn't happy anymore and I respect that she wanted to move along. I won't sit here and spew bad vibes about her but there were things she was also guilty of that made our relationship hard at times. I'm going to leave all past art of "us" together still because I look back and like to think I was lucky to know her these past couple years and how she has brought happiness to my life. I'm aware that she had already shared rumors and tweeted bad things about me, but I'm going to be the bigger adult here and ignore it all. Quite surprised how fast some of my irl friends also turned their backs on me after this breakup due to those rumors. Take it as you will. I'm already a "bad guy" in some people's stories, just wish we could've walked away as friends still and not strangers. Thanks if I've talked to you one on one about this already. It means a lot and I appreciate having that support. I'm still trying to get over this and it might take me some time, so please be patient with me.
