That looks like a sparrow. If it has a nest close, it might be diving at you to to chase you off. Sparrows are kinda mean. I've had to duck them coming at me before.

What Mike said, nest may be nearby and it seeing you in the window causing it to dive bomb you to scare you away.

When I was recording him I'd believe it. But for the past 5 days at around 7 am I keep hearing him *thunk* against the window when the blinds are down and the lights are off so he shouldn't see snyone inside. Heck I went outside and tried to scare it away and looked at the window, it's so dirty that I couldn't even see in it clearly. Just another thing for me to clean on my day off. I thought there was a bug between the window and the screen but nothing that I could see. It's just odd that he does this from 7am-10am when I leave for work.

I am going to recommend that you put a lamp in that window, the bird is seeing something in the shadow that makes it think something is there that needs attacking.

A remake-like movie was called Kaw along a similar theme of birds attacking people, but it uses almost exclusively handsome glossy crow birbs. But they did make a sequel to The Birds called The Birds 2: Lands End.

I think you may be right. When I went out today to clean my window there was a bit of a reflection before hand. Now that I got the window cleaned he seems to have left it alone.
