Dead Computers
TL;DR - Computers don't work around me. Streams will be suspended until further notice - Jan 2nd at the earliest.
Long Version:
So I've been trying to get a new computer working lately. I've already been through a lot of stress trying to get all the parts together, realizing I'm missing a few things, and then ordering more parts and having to wait on those. When I got the whole new rig assembled, it turns on, no display. I troubleshot the hell out of it, and recently I wondered if the RAM might be the issue.
So I open up my old, operational desktop to pop out the RAM, hold it up the the motherboard on the new computer, and realize it won't fit. So I put the chip back into the old desktop, close it up, and power it on to make sure things are fine.
It turned on, I smelled ozone, and there was no display.
Needless to say, I'm quite upset to have two broken computers where I used to have one working machine.
I thought I could stream on my laptop in the meantime, but between stalling inputs and none of the preferences being set properly on any programs, the experience was quite excruciating for me. I could only stand it for long enough to put the finishing touches on a picture, and sketching new stuff feels so imprecise.
So I decided to take my new rig to a shop to have it looked at, and the owner estimated that it'll take at least until the second of January to get anything conclusive. Until then, I'm pretty much dead in the water as far as streaming is concerned. I may be able to work on pics offline, but that will be an experiment for another night. I'm too frustrated to give it a go now.

if youre having to wait almost 2 weeks for anything conclusive as to what blew up and an estimate of the cost it means they are sending the thing to china or something for repairs
and thats sketchy
If something happens and I don't even get a broken computer back, I'll know building my own machine was truly never meant to be. I'll probably have to get swindled for something at Best Buy like a gormless normie.
But some places take in too many jobs cause they're cheap and take forever
It's the triangle of goods: quality, time or price: pick two
