And we have now hit consensus 25 December (half the world's population is on the new date at 1830 GMT), so here's a Merry Christmas to all! For those who celebrate other festivals, Blessed Yule and Solstice, Happy Hanukah, Happy Kwanzaa, and other as needed.

as for me, that whole week in there, rather then any one particular of those dates,
well the solstice is the pivot and the whole point and why all those other days are near it,
because whatever the story is that goes with any of them, they're all at the time they are,
because it is the solstice, and being near to it.
