As The Year Slowly Closes
Its been a crazy sort of year, but not without some crazy milestones:
1) Celebrated 5 years married
2) Turned another year old
3) Made it to a Year as a CNA and a Year in my Job (especially when people have come and gone at my job)
And among the milestones, we, and in we, I mean my husband and I took a trip out to South Carolina to check out a housing development my folks were looking into, and we fell instantly in love with County of Greer near Greenville, SC. The house my folks are getting built is so big and so awesome and the background to it looks so pretty. Life there is so slow and easy going.
And if this wasn't obvious: Around the Summer of 2020 we're getting out California after being here almost all our lives.
Nothing against California, I've lived here almost 34 years, and I've seen it change in leaps and bounds and seen some chaos happen and nowadays, we're just ready to get the heck out of here. Cost of living has gone up to the point that for us to live we would have to work more then one job, which I know most people are doing. But its not for us.
South Carolina is gonna give us a fresh start, especially for me. School has been something people at work who know me have asked about to which I respond, "Trying to get into the local Community College here is a shot in the dark for the RN Program unless you've got a Straight A average. And its a lottery system to get picked."
With South Carolina, I'm gonna try and work still as a CNA till I get into school out in the area to start my trek to being an RN again. So that once I've got my RN Degree I can find work and get ourselves on our feet in our place.
With all of that, in the New Year we're gonna be finishing up packing up stuff and with that as well, I'm gonna be going through my faux furs and craft supplies to sell off to make space for stuff and downsize. As mentioned about going to school once we're in SC, fursuit stuffs is gonna be a BIG distraction so not having all my furs in boxes is gonna be a BIG BIG help to my studies.
Not giving up fursuit making or fursuiting at all, just don't need said distraction.
Once I know what I have for grabs, I'm gonna put up pics of the items on here.
I'll be once we get things arranged in the house at the in-laws to find it all.
