Almost the next year
Update I guess! Been fairly busy this year, gotten lots of work done (even if it's not all work I share here) and obtained decent savings, also was able to splurge and get myself a Valve Index for my latest way I socialize.
As you'd seen with my original hoodiedragon model I've gotten into 3d modelling, rigging and whatnot. I've since then made a hoodiedragon 2.0, though I have yet to properly show it outside of my patreon discord and in VRChat - where I've been spending my weekends socializing as a cooldown from the work week. Made some good friends and been having fun and finding inspiration. In the middle of making a 3d model of my proper fursona, along with a model of my character Altea. Planning on rigging both up for VRChat as well once they're done - also should share them properly to my galleries. Then after those are done I have even more plans on models and stuff... perhaps even making a hub world of my own and avatars to sell for VRC. But that's later, one project at a time.
Trying to make sure I get owed work done on time, still learning how to juggle work time and play time and just... having energy to actually do things and not sleep all day. I need to figure out why I've been so lethargic this past month. Maybe it's the season, maybe it's the holidays, who knows. I just know I need to kick it out of here, it's not welcome. I like being able to do things and not be tired.
Had lots of life changes since august, got our own 'place' and the privacy and extra room has been a godsend. It's done wonders for my mental health and being able to just be me in my own space - even if it's shared with Mi - is wonderful.
While I'd love nothing more than to ramp up working on my patreon and own projects, ( I even bought a ton of supplies to try and make a hoodiedragon partial fursuit but I have yet to start on it...) i'll likely have another drought of fun work a bit into 2020 since I'm anticipating another round of contract work starting in march-ish. money is money, at least. Means i'll have to try and get things done before then... while also juggling playing Monster Hunter: Iceborne, Ark: Genesis and Animal Crossing: New Horizons, which are all coming out in the first 3 months of 2020. oof @v@
bah! not a bad thing to be busy and have things to look forward to. I'm anticipating streaming while I play (most) of those since I have the space and privacy to do those kinds of things more easily, plus i shouldn't be such a hermit when i'm trying to build a community base. (on another note, should I share my discord to be more public? right now it's mainly for patrons/past patrons but i did create a public chat room, i just wasn't sure if people would be interested in it. it's fairly quiet since i forget to update it a lot...)
so this is my yammering update before the end of the year. congrats if you've read this far! I hope 2019 wasn't too tough with you guys, but even if it was, let's cross fingers and claws to hoping 2020 is better. thank you for your support and patience with this forgetful noodle, I look forward to starting the new year with you all.
