I'm as surprised as you here. But, it isn't that bad compared to Eclipse. (At least from what little I've seen so far, my opinion might change later.)

And they mention it in the site news that one can switch back to the classic UI by going into the account settings.
However, they also mentioned that the classic UI will no longer recieve updates, fixes or improvements.

Im fine with that

I dont like this change.... As an autistic individual, it kinda freaks me out.
