Could you please make a script to restore "Download" function? To open pictures in a new browser window by middle-clicking Download button instead of only being able to download files.

I don't appear to be having this issue on Firefox, but I do have an add-on (that I tested disabling without a change)

I did notice this happening on Chrome, though. There's no way to use a script for this. However, there are add-ons that change this behavior.

Although is there no way to change a link that Download buttons provide? I mean, a picture in full size can be opened by a like like this:

If there's a way to simply remove "/download" from Download button link it'll solve the problem as well.

Ah, sure, that's possible. I thought they may have changed the way the picture is delivered normally. On Firefox, you can also right click the image, then middle click view image, if you have the full view open, or on by default.

That being said, those add-ons will prevent pictures being forced to download on every site! Other files too, if they can be opened in the browser directly.

If you still want a script, I could write one in a few minutes.
