I did notice this happening on Chrome, though. There's no way to use a script for this. However, there are add-ons that change this behavior.
Chrome: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/.....nommncemiejein
Firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fi.....tion-reloaded/
Although is there no way to change a link that Download buttons provide? I mean, a picture in full size can be opened by a like like this:
https://d.facdn.net/art/flaviagrand.....ibi_flavia.png
And Download button has this link:
https://d.facdn.net/download/art/fl.....ibi_flavia.png
If there's a way to simply remove "/download" from Download button link it'll solve the problem as well.
That being said, those add-ons will prevent pictures being forced to download on every site! Other files too, if they can be opened in the browser directly.
If you still want a script, I could write one in a few minutes.
