Hey y'all! It's been a hot minute since I wrote up a journal on this side of the internet, but I wanted to make sure I could come back with some definitive updates on commission openings, conventions, the imminent future, etc! ♥

I've talked about commissions here and there over on my Twitter, but the basic gist of my tweet ramblings has been: I'm not wholly satisfied with the turnaround time of my commission queue as it is. My last opening was way back in June, but my attention and energy has grown more and more divided between commissions, Patreon illustrations & comics, YCH's, and sketchstreams. To summarize, I to need to fundamentally re-approach how I take & work on commissions, because no one likes a long turnaround time, or worse, a paid-for commission never being completed (I would NEVER).

My current idea is to open less slots at a time (3-4), so that I can have more frequent openings. These batches would be able to be completed within 2-3 months. The commission type would be pre-determined for each opening, so that I don't have to stylistically shift gears so often. Want a shaded commission? Wait for shaded commission openings. With this implemented I can work on whatever style is exciting me most, and also budget out my time a bit more accurately. I could also open for more specific things like bust shots, genre pieces, badges, etc. I want to switch over to this new system ASAP, and even though I only have a couple commissions on my plate at the moment, I don't expect to have openings until late February, as I want to take the next month to really focus in on finishing Crossing That Bridge, as well as...

Further Confusion 2020! I have a dealer's table (12b)! I'll be selling traditional commissions, a few new stickers, and my usual assortment of convention goodies! I always love chattin' with folks from online, so please don't be afraid to just stop by and say hello. ♥
