Rest In Peace Dragoneer 💜
Really can't be overstated how much this website means to me, and how huge of a role it played in my upbringing as a furry, a trans person, as myself, and I have Dragoneer to thank for being the one to create this space. For all its little issues here and there, FurAffinity still means to me what it's always meant to me; the quintessential furry art platform, made by furries for their community, and for the art they create. While everyone talks about big game about cultivating online platforms and spaces for furries, he's one of the few who actually did it, and we still desperately need it.
However you might've felt about him, you have to honor the massive positive impact he had on the fandom, and the amount of friendship, beauty, art, prosperity, and community-building that this has place played host to. I don't expect it to expire anytime soon and neither should you. Just keep supporting this place however you can. It's the least we can do.
Rest in peace Dragoneer, thank you so much for helping me find my place here ♥

His impact on this fandom will be greatly missed.
RiP you big silly dragon <3
a real Steven Bradbury type performance on it's part
if it goes, I don't know what I'll do, I don't want to use pixiv or da or any of the other ones; they all feel so hostile and unpleasant about every interaction
This site always has and always will be a place I can feel at home. I'm grateful for the friends I've met thanks to this site and Dragoneer's work.
RIP Dragoneer.
