A full on Capricorn sounds cool, don't see many of the those around and you can get a little more creative with it too, ex. full half-n-half, more goat less fish, or more fish less goat.

Welp, I think both ideas are really great : a kirin has a lot of fur to play with if you want it to look fluffy or get a special style of haircut ! and with capricorns you can play a lot with the hybrid theme, like adding fins on his body or having a fish tail with fur on it ! In the end, both are rare and good, so I think you should go and if in the end you don't like it you can always go back to your original goat or make the ither creature ;)

Oh the mix of scales and fins, with mega a bit of fluff sounds fun! And a fluffy Kirin sounds like a wicked idea!
