123rd Journal. It's a No Go :(

This is my head.
Due to a variety of factors, I am not going to be able to go to this year's Texas Furry Fiesta. I am quite bummed about it as you can imagine. I was looking so forward to it and hyped up to reveal the changes I did to my suit as well as my new awesome badge but alas, RL got in the way. As a result, my work on my fursuit pretty much ground to a halt, hence the lack of updates of late. But I do want to get at least progress on it in the coming weeks anyway, especially once things calm down... if it ever does.
Back last year when they announced the con day for this year, I had a sinking feeling it would be an issue. My fears turned out to be correct as it is a bad time for me. I would have prefer it to be deeper in march. I heard they alternate dates between the years so next year would hopefully be doable.
Maybe I'll finally attend the local fur meets to make up missing TFF. I been wanting to go for awhile but been too busy/lazy. I am looking at sometime when spring swings by. Hopefully things will better and I have those design changes done. And there is ACFI in lare October. Since that is my local con, nothing will stop me from attending that no matter what short of a nuclear blast or something big like that. But the waiting... ugh.

Austin had one many many years ago but it didn't go beyond the first year. Perhaps someone would try again. There are also a few anime/comic type cons in SA but I heard they are not the best for furries especially suiters.
I am going to try the local meets, something I been meaning to do anyway. all my friends are on the internet so it would be nice to branch out my tentacles on the local scene. We'll see how that goes.
