So I'm in Vegas now. I like it here, hung out with  macengregora all Monday. It feels quite right! Been making tea. Good to see my dad of course!

I'm still going to Pittsburgh for the October quarter and nothing will prevent this from happening. There is no other way.

On another note, right now I feel extremely defensive. I do not understand why. I feel like I'm holding a very large, rectangular tower shield made of shiny steel! A white heart emblem is emblazoned across the front of the shield.
