And the fusky spaketh
First off I hope everyone is safe and doing well as you can during these times. It's an interesting time and my condolences for those that have lost friends and family. It ain't great and the isolation thing is butts.
For me, I'm an "essential worker" so I has to go out and about and do fun things still. No staying home and working on art all day *grumbles* but it's better than being laid off for 4 months which I know is happening to a lot of people which also really sucks.
As for me personally, I'm settling into my new fursona still but quite enjoying it and it feels right for me to be this. It's fitting well. although I keep getting eyed up by crocodiles, hyenas, lions, african wild dogs, and every other predator you could imagine. (I'm not a piece of meat though they seem to beg to differ.)
The big thing recently is I got sick. Very sick. Zebra was actually bedridden for a few days during it. Was REALLY not fun... and I haven't been that sick since I worked in the hospital. I went to the doctor twice and was put on inhalers and steroids for breathing while they kept an eye on me for pneumonia.
The big question is, did I have the corona. The answer is: maybe. Officially I was diagnosed with "acute bronchitis caused by an unknown viral infection" and the doctor agreed that I may have had it but unfortunately due to SOME REASON there were NO TESTS AVAILABLE. which at the onset of a pandemic is mindblowing to me... (the thing I'm most upset about is that if I did actually have it I'd have antibodies and being recovered from it means my blood would be valuable for research and finding a vaccine.) but I will unfortunately never know for sure if I did or not.
This all happened a month ago ahead of all... this. I still have a cough from the bronchi spasming especially when I speak or laugh but that's getting better slowly. And I can at least do strenuous activities I don't die now.
Other than that I've been trying to set up habits and routines that are supportive to me drawing and I've been drawing a bit lately ^^ even got my new ref sheet... mostly done. there is still a couple additions to and adjustments to make but nothing too major.
As for the fusky, she is now officially semi-retired. not doing any new art of her beyond what was already planned. the reason I say semi retired is yes she has ended as a character for me, there is still the massive comic where she is the main character of. There is an internal debate of using ajizza in her fox form but will see how that goes. (also dear gods that would cause the production time to go through the roof doing stripes in every panel XD as pretty as it would be. ) but that's still being debated. (a lot of plot points in one particular arc are derailed by her stripes lineage.) but any art of her will be of the non-banded version. The short version is that the one wearing the arm band is the "real-life" fusky that exists in our world and any without the band comes from other places. which is why the comic version doesn't wear the band. it's complicated and if you want to know more I'll tell you but I think I've already lost everyone at this point :P
Things are still going and will see how the future pans out and thank you all so much for your continued support as I work through all of this. Stay safe everyone

Things are slowly getting worse over here in washington. but we are practicing isolation in our den. have slowly been seeking Rp partners because of it x-x the lonelyness is getting to me and i need interaction lol.
luckily/unfortunately I'm an essential worker so I have to go out into it every day.
and yeh, both a great and a bad thing. just stay safe ok Kizz? don't forget you can always talk to us to if stress starts getting to you from all this chaos in the world or anything really. I hope your cough goes away fully soon You can use my long tail as a mask :D itll prevent you from getting sick ^^
I just started working from home, it's....weird.
