...Well I think some changes will be permanent. Kawaii dust masks were a thing anyway. Now you won't feel silly wearing them outside.

99 percent of folks I see with gloves and masks are doing it wrong, and most have a mask that will not do squat.

NOT an expert, but I do have some training, and yeah, whatever makes them feel safe they can have at it, and whatever looks funny or whatever like the kawaii masks, is fine.

If I had the talent to make one I would be sporting a "Plague Doctor" mask when it was humorously appropriate.
