I still don't understand this thing about buying a shit load of toilet paper. What the fuck do people need a ten years stock of toilet paper for!?! I can understand buying "one" extra large package of toilet paper or paper towels on sale that would last you a really long time. I did so better than a year ago and that same extra large package of toilet paper may last me a year to go. But what the hell does a family of three or four need ten large packages of toilet paper for!?! I have literally seen stores have signs that say people are limited to one package of toilet paper and I would see what is clearly a couple buying two extra large packages of toilet paper and paying separately to get around the limitation of only one. I mean really if you for some extremely bazaar reason go through one roll of toilet paper a day one package of toilet paper will last you nearly a month. I can't say what "normal" people's use of toilet paper is as one roll may last me months as I use as little as I need to get the job done. But if one roll would last say a week one package of 24 rolls would last nearly half a year.

At least that is what I read online from somebody that tried to trace it back to the start.
I don't know. This world seems to be running low on brain cells, or something. I mean, there's picketing in the streets to make the American lifestyle return to normal. Which will only mean a rising death count that gets there quicker.
I'm not all that worried about this virus. If I catch it it will totally suck as I won't be able to work for the best part of a month but the chance of me actually dieing is not all that high.
There are not that many examples of entire societies collapsing entirely. Rome is one, the bringing European diseases to the Americas that wiped out maybe as much as 90% of the native population, and the end of the bronze age is another. There may be a few others but not many. Mostly what happens is a society is changed but is not destroyed entirely.
So, in summary, I have faith the world and Humanity survives this. And I trust that the fear is blown way out of proportion. It feels like a badly written horror script, after all. But, what is the world going to look like after it has all faded into history?
